Neivi Martínez Joins Vienna International Opera Week 2026 as Vocal Coach

A week celebrating young talent, vocal artistry, and the exchange of musical knowledge across generations in Vienna.
Vienna once again became a meeting point for emerging opera talents during Vienna International Opera Week 2026, an artistic initiative bringing together young singers, vocal teachers, and classical music professionals for an inspiring week of musical development and artistic exchange.
German-Mexican soprano Neivi Martínez participated as a vocal coach, sharing her international stage experience with a new generation of singers dedicated to developing their vocal technique, musical expression, and artistic identity.
Teaching Voice: Helping Artists Discover Their Own Sound
For Neivi Martínez, vocal teaching is a natural extension of her artistic career and during Vienna International Opera Week, Martínez had the opportunity to work with young singers in an atmosphere of dedication, curiosity, and artistic enthusiasm.
Beyond vocal technique, she approaches singing as a process of discovering each artist's individuality, encouraging expressive freedom, and developing an authentic connection between music, language, and emotion.
“It is a privilege to be part of this week as a vocal teacher, working with such talented, dedicated, and enthusiastic young artists. It is truly rewarding to witness their progress and share this wonderful week of music and learning,” Martínez shared during the event.

An Inspiring Experience Alongside Thomas Hampson
One of the highlights of this edition was the participation of internationally acclaimed baritone Thomas Hampson, one of the most distinguished figures in the world of opera and vocal music.
His presence added a special dimension to a week devoted to artistic growth and the exchange of experience between established performers and the next generation of opera singers.
Vienna International Opera Week provided an inspiring environment for learning, collaboration, and the development of meaningful connections within the international opera community.
Celebrating Young Talent on Stage
The week concluded on August 7, 2026, with the masterclass final concert at the Lorely-Saal in Vienna, featuring young singers accompanied by the Wiener Tonkunstvereinigung Orchestra.
The performance offered participants an opportunity to present the results of their intensive artistic work and share their musical achievements with an audience.
The final concert celebrated not only vocal talent, but also the dedication, discipline, and passion required to pursue a career in opera.
Connecting Performance, Education, and Cultural Exchange
For Neivi Martínez, artistic education is part of a broader commitment to supporting emerging talent, encouraging intercultural dialogue, and creating meaningful opportunities for young musicians.
Alongside her international performing career, Martínez develops artistic projects through Amadeus Artists, a platform dedicated to classical music production, artistic collaboration, and the promotion of talented performers across cultural boundaries.
Her participation in Vienna International Opera Week 2026 reflects a belief that remains central to her artistic work:
Opera is a living tradition, strengthened whenever knowledge, experience, and a passion for music are shared with the next generation.
