An inspiring celebration of emerging operatic talent, international collaboration, and artistic excellence in Austria.

The magnificent Esterházy Palace provided an extraordinary setting for the 3rd Danube International Competition, bringing together talented young performers and distinguished members of the international classical music community.

German-Mexican soprano Neivi Martínez was honored to serve as a member of the competition's international jury, following an invitation from ACMA – Austrian Chinese Musicians Association.

An International Jury United by Music

Martínez joined a distinguished panel of fellow artists and music professionals, including Daniel Serafin, Simone Long, President of ACMA, and Professors Yan Han Yan, Hao Miao, and Zao Ying.

The competition provided an opportunity to discover emerging musical talent, celebrate artistic achievement, and encourage young performers as they take important steps toward their professional careers.

For Martínez, serving on the jury was both an honor and a meaningful responsibility.

From Competition to the Opera Stage

One of the most exciting opportunities offered to the competition's first-prize winners was the prospect of participating in a forthcoming production of Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto at St. Margarethen, one of Austria's remarkable open-air opera venues.

This connection between artistic competitions and professional stage opportunities highlights the importance of creating meaningful pathways for the next generation of opera singers.

Supporting the Next Generation of Opera Artists

Beyond evaluating performances, participating in an international competition is an opportunity to recognize the dedication, discipline, individuality, and artistic potential of young musicians.

Neivi Martínez warmly congratulated all participants for their commitment and performances, with special recognition for the first-prize winners.

“It was a great pleasure and honor to serve on the jury of the 3rd Danube International Competition at the magnificent Esterházy Palace. My warmest congratulations to all the talented participants for their dedication and wonderful performances. Wishing these young artists continued inspiration, growth, and many beautiful moments on stage. Bravi tutti!”

Building Bridges Through Music

Martínez's participation reflects her ongoing commitment to artistic education, international collaboration, and the promotion of emerging talent.

Alongside her career as an international soprano, she works to create opportunities for artists through Amadeus Artists, supporting classical music projects and cultural exchange across borders.

Her collaboration with ACMA represents another meaningful connection between artists and musical communities from different cultural backgrounds.

Music connects generations, cultures, and artistic traditions—and competitions such as the Danube International Competition help shape the voices of tomorrow.
