Divine Madness: A Night of Opera, Operetta & the Art of Losing Your Mind — Beautifully
Neivi Martinez (Soprano) & Alfredo Oyágüez (Piano) | Mallorca Tour | July 2026
What happens when the most heart-wrenching moments in opera history collide with the irresistible joy of Viennese operetta? You get Divine Madness — and we invite you to lose yourself in it.
Soprano Neivi Martinez and pianist Alfredo Oyágüez bring one of the most compelling programs of the season to Mallorca, Spain this July — a carefully crafted evening that explores two very different kinds of madness: the tragic, the sublime, and the deliriously happy.

Two Sides of Madness
The program plays on the double meaning of the word madness. On one side, the Arie di Pazzia — the great mad scenes of the operatic canon. These are the moments every soprano lives for: Lucia's shattering descent into grief, Elvira's haunted lament, Ophelia's ethereal final song. Moments that leave audiences breathless.
On the other side: the madness of happiness — the sparkling, champagne-soaked world of Viennese Operetta, where joy is the highest art form. Works by Johann Strauss II, Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán, Carl Zeller, Karl Millöcker, Oscar Straus and Leo Fall fill the room with warmth, wit, and irresistible melody.
Together, they form an evening that moves you — from tears to laughter and back again.
A Program Built for Every Stage
Divine Madness is designed with flexibility in mind. The program has been successfully performed:
🎻 With full symphony orchestra — as premiered with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Querétaro (Mexico, March–April 2026) to sold-out houses: Watch here
🎹 In piano & voice format — an intimate and equally powerful version, ideal for concert halls, festivals, cultural venues, and gala events.
Both formats deliver the full dramatic and emotional arc of the program. The production adapts seamlessly to the needs of each presenter and venue.
